We are pretty keen on the kind of performance you only get from a native client though. Getting that swipe through image-heavy cards as smooth as it is was not an easy task. That flick-through UI is pretty central to flook&#039;s proposition as the location browser.</description>

Great news about the upcoming release!&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;As for getting it working on Android, perhaps there&#039;s a way of creating a skeleton version as a web application (like Gowalla did)?  From what I understand it&#039;s really easy to access GPS and other phone services from within the browser.  (But I can also understand not wanting to create multiple interfaces for multiple platforms!)</description>
